Lord of the Rings Exhibit

Oh Wow!
It was incredible. Being able to get that close and see the detail was amazing. Anduril was huge, and the Tengwar on the hilt was excellently done. I DO NOT like legolas, but his tunic had the most subtle details. We saw the shards of Narsil, the Red Book, Sam's pots and pans. There was an elvish boat, with a model of Boromir lying in it. The wax figure was perfect, down to the scabs in its hands, and the cloven horn next to it. I could have done without the model of the cave troll, or a lifesize figure of an Urak-Hai, and the Witch-king was terrifying. They had the three rings of the elves, Narya, Vilya and Nenya, and the palantir. You could see the mended places on the costumes. Galadriel's white beaded gown was exquisite. They had the model of the Hobbiton mill that showed for two seconds in the movie; it was almost as big as a suburban. The elvish crowns were gorgeous, with their tiny, thin strands of metal. The mithril coat was perfect, and Gil-galad's spear was gigantic. The exhibit had the feel of history, I felt as if I was visiting some medieval museum, because everything seems so real.
The ring was in a seperate room. When you walk in, everything is dark, except for the illusion of flickering flames around the walls. Yellow-red lights shone with the script of the ring rhyme. You constantly hear the characters discussing the ring. "My precious" "It is strange that we should suffer so much for so small a thing" "Ash nasz..."
"We must destroy it" "It is mine, my own" "It was forged in the fires of Mount Doom." In the center of the room the ring appeares suspended in a large, clear column. Red lights shine on it. It really was eerily mesmerizing. The whole thing was incredible.

Thermodude, how could I stop rubbing it in when I just got started?
You're still loved, no matter how rejected you may feel. There is life outside of the exhibit, sort of.
