Ents are said to be the oldest living thing on Middle Earth. What about Tom Bombalidil? Didn't he say that he was there before the trees were? When the first rain drop fell, and all that?

History? Did you not know that I loathe history. Well, only some of it. And what history might this be?

Oh, sorry, you caught me off guard. Okay, but I don't have any of the history books. Sorry. As I said earlier, I am not much into history so don't except me to go searching for one or anything like that.
I want all the History of Middle Earth books.
